Dr.M.M.Ilyas, M.B.A., M.Sc., Ph.D.,
A brief introduction about me:

Blessing And Peace Be With You!

Well, I was born in Chidambaram, in 1950 to be exact and raised in my native town Chidambaram and I can proudly say that I belong 4th generation and which leads to 5th and 6th generation by my children and grandchildren who were also born in this holy town.

Unfortunately, I was the only child in my family; I won't say it is providential for me to be the only child in a family rather than grown up with number of siblings. I missed this opportunity in my early age but I took it easy as taken for granted but let's just say I'm no spring chicken.

I grew up there with my rather small family of my only one beloved mother as my father had most of the time lived in Malaysia for his business purposes. Though I was the only baby of the family, but I swear I wasn't spoiled! We were 2 in all, probably the smallest family in the neighborhood, maybe in the town. I had a mostly happy childhood. My father and mother did have enough money to raise me, so, we were never worried about keeping up with the Joneses. I wasn't much into sports like other in my peer group, but I enjoyed reading books and listening to music growing up.

I went to elementary school nearby my house, which was run by Chidambaram Municipality in North Main Road called as "NahgaratchiAadharaPhadaShalai " beside our mosque which is regrettably no more exist now, but Head Master Mr.Syed Ali who is no more now but is always living in the bottom of my heart, after that I went to a high school about a mile from where I lived, the school is called as RCT high school, expansion of this abbreviation is "RamaswamyChettiyar Town High School and I reminisce and salute Mr.V.Swaminathan, then Headmaster of this school for his dedicated and committed work for our society.

After completing S.S.L.C from high school, I went on to the Annamalai University in Chidambram for higher studies, in 1969 I passed P.U.C and in 1974 I got my under graduate i.e. bachelor's degree in Sociology and still I remember and respect my professor Dr.V.Gomathinayagam for his great guidance and advice at the time of my studies at Annamalai University. It took me a while to learn the ropes at the university, but I finally graduated.

After my graduation, I then went to Bangkok, one and the only capital city of Thailand, there I was given a position to look after of my in-laws gem shop. After I gained adequate knowledge in that business in a year time, I have started my own business and extended into many businesses as well expanded into many countries for decades of my devoted and dedicated hard work up until this time.

In 1975, I went alone to Thailand and in 1978, I took my family to Bangkok and we are living there since then. I have four children, my two elder sons studied in South Bank University in London at United Kingdom and got their M.Sc degree with distinction as well as awarded as top students of the university and to appreciate and honor their highest rank, the university arranged a special event for them and refunded their paid fees to them along with trophy and university title certificate, fortunately I was witnessed that function.

My two younger daughters have gained M.Sc degree in Information technology from Melbourne University at Australia and one of my daughter settled over there and working as CEO in an European company there.

Better late than never, as my father used to say I did my MBA in the year of 1990, at the age of 40, from University of America by distance education and in the year of 2000 , by the age of 50, I pursued my another Master's degree in counseling psychology in regular day time course in a reputed international University at Bangkok, named Assumption University and then I finished up my PhD at the age of 55 at the same university, the topic that I have chosen for my research is "Midlife Crisis" which Particularizes Life Span Development and Aging , Psychopathology, Psychotherapy, and Counseling. While I was studying, I was offered a job as a part time lecturer where I have had taught Business management to the final year students for few years, of course, which helps me a lot to gain some experience in teaching profession as well as to upgrade myself but I still enjoy teaching and reading.

For the past several years, I have been thinking to run a quality educational institution to my native place to prove and follow John.F.Kennedy's Quote as:

"Ask not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country."
Hence, I was working very hard to make my dream into reality and eventually it has happened as our Ex-President of India Dr.AbdulKalam citation:

"Dream, Dream Dream
Dreams transform into thoughts
And thoughts result in action."

A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

After I have made some but essential and vital research in Chidambaram, I have found out that there is a scarcity and insufficiency for basic elementary education and schooling for children rather than higher college education. To fill up this gap, I decided to open a best quality school to help my people in my native place and the consequence is the birth of this Oxford English school.

My dream is to spread quality education as for wide as possible especially English education which is more crucial in this present generation which certainly helps to your children to compete in this competitive contemporary world. In the wake of globalization, parents are aiming to sending their children for pursuing higher education around the globe. To satisfy the aspiration and ambition of those parents, The Oxford English School has founded in Chidambaram.

I am kindheartedly and friendly inviting you all to make use of this rare but amazing and awesome opportunity to brand your children's' future brighter and better by giving top quality education in our institute.

Wishing you a great success in your career.

With best regards,

Dr.M.M.Ilyas, M.B.A., M.Sc., Ph.D.,
